Kerri Cavanaugh, M.D., M.H.S., is associate professor in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She is co-director of the Vanderbilt Center for Effective Health Communication. Her research focuses on strategies to promote successful patient, family and clinician engagement to deliver the highest quality healthcare.
