Imam Uddin, Ph.D., is assistant professor in the Departments of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Uddin uses optical imaging techniques and nanotechnology-based approaches in preclinical models of diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity, retinal vein occlusion and age-related macular degeneration.
