Stephen W. Patrick, M.D., M.P.H., is assistant professor of pediatrics and health policy at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research and clinical interests include improving outcomes for opioid-exposed infants and women with substance-abuse disorders. Among his roles as an advisor to federal and state drug control policies, he has served as Senior Science Policy Advisor to the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.
